After living abroad for 10 years and returning to the UK as a single woman, I soon discovered that the old school face to face

way of meeting people had moved online.  I spent months considering whether to give them a go, but did I really want to spend that much time online chatting to random strangers ?  I soon knew they didn’t appeal to me as I do think of myself as more of an in person kind of girl.  

 

Now I’m not knocking them at all as they are on the whole successful but, the thought of seeing a face and swiping “Yes or No”

just doesn’t float my boat.  Then there’s the time it takes up with the random messaging, I mean what’s a girl to do,

chat for weeks before a meet up and then what ?  What if there’s no spark or chemistry and then how much time is that just wasted ?

 

I was certain I wasn’t the only one who prefers to meet people in person, I wanted the initial spark and chemistry
